Raised Roof
The raised roof manufactured by EDM for the Ford Transit Custom DUALIS is the result of a complete redesign of the bodywork. Built in fiberglass with a monocoque structure, it guarantees a useful internal height of 1.92 meters, allowing medical personnel to work standing in complete comfort. The integrated lighting system ensures 360-degree visibility even at long distances.
The Design
The raised rear doors and side door improve access to the medical compartment in all conditions. The clean line without protrusions reduces aerodynamic drag, maintaining a compact profile with an external height of only 2.57 meters, ideal even in urban contexts and covered parking areas.
Technology and Comfort
The technologies integrated in DUALIS include a high-brightness LED lighting system, latest-generation control units, and an oxygen distribution system compliant with CE directives.
