High Roof
The high roof created by EDM for the Volkswagen Transporter DUALIS is the result of a complete bodywork redesign. Built in fiberglass with a monobloc structure, it guarantees an internal standing height of 1.92 meters, allowing medical personnel to work standing up in full comfort. The integrated lighting system ensures 360-degree visibility even at long distances.
Design
The raised rear and side doors improve access to the medical compartment in all conditions. The clean line, free of protrusions, reduces aerodynamic drag while maintaining a compact profile with an external height of only 2.57 meters, ideal for urban contexts and covered parking lots.
Technology and Comfort
The technologies integrated into DUALIS include a high-brightness LED lighting system, latest-generation control units, and an oxygen distribution system compliant with EC directives. Walls and ceiling molded in a single piece eliminate joints and gaps, making every surface perfectly washable. Thermal-acoustic insulation reduces internal noise, creating a quieter and more comfortable working environment for the entire crew.
